"If you look at the race pace (of McLaren). They had the pace; they were just pushing too hard. They were doing much too fast laps early on. Kill their tyres and I guess they literally planned for a two stop thats why they were pushing so hard. They just backed off and gone longer they for sure would have made a one stop. I was getting the information on the times they were doing and there's no way your tyres are gonna last at that pace. Charles did a fantastic job today. So really well done to him"
