My work morning has started with this pretty lady. Helped my client give her a bath and trim. I think I am getting better, she doesn't seem scared of me holding the scissor near her. Today at work I went for a run down the street and into the woods after a kid. That kid jumped into a pond and then chilled out. I then spent time with this same kid watching tv. This kid took a nap. Upon waking up he went back out of program and another staff followed. He came back in and tried hurting himself. The plastic he used was confiscated. He went out of program again and I followed. We came back in he went in his room and started trashing his room. He broke his glasses and I attempted to confiscate the pieces. He then tried to push past me at which point I would not let him. He then told me he was going to drop me. I still wouldnt let him by me. He grabbed me in a headlock and we went down on his bed. We struggled and I got him on the floor on his stomach and attempted to restrain him but nobody jumped in to help so I got up and left the room and other staff took over. My supervisor called the cops and they took him to the hospital in handcuffs. I have to go to the police station after work to press charges against him.

I dont get paid enough. When the cops left here I took a break to grab another monster, came back and made dinner and cookies for the rest of the kids.

Also the AOD (administrator on duty) didnt want the cops called again (because I had called when the kid was jumping into the pond because my supervisor told me to) but like this kid attacked me and was threatening to continue to be "psychotic" after like fuck that.

I'm just annoyed because they're probably going to move me to a different cottage when they should be moving him.

Ugh, i'm subbing at a site tonight that I recently quit due to it always being a shit show. You'd think after a new supervisor and a million people quitting something would change.. Wrong! Is it 8am yet? I'm so ready for my day off.
