Algiers, Winslow & Western
Here are a couple of shots of the AW&W in southern Indiana. Interesting Alco power here: an S4 and two RS1s, both of which began life working for the Duluth, South Shore, and Atlantic Railway.
As I understand it, this railroad, a coal hauler, is only nineteen miles long. I’m not certain, but these images may have been taken in Oakland City, Indiana.
