It also makes everything really muted. The Qor ground feels sort of like plaster, it is gritty and drier in texture. The Daniel Smith ground felt more like dried acrylic paint. Both behaved the same though. Not really like watercolor paper at all. Though they both made canvases paintable with watercolor.
