Day 4: Shadow

You need some changes in perspectives.

Click to see the image change. Got some ideas from the book <White Tiger>. The shadow can be a threat to someone, but can also be a key to break out from chains. Someone can think the mighty power watching over you as a big brother keeping you in the cage.

Shadow is Strange

Shadow is very strange. Is it a gas? A liquid? A solid? Nobody seems to know. Thinking of shadow in this way kinda reminds me of Oobleck or sensory slime. It's this slimy material that you can make that in some ways acts solid, other ways liquid. Shadow goo probably DOES feel like it. But shadow isn't JUST slime. It can be gas like too. So what the rapo is it?!? I don't know. Shadow is probably related to ink, if not ink itself. What if you came across a shadow cloud and just began to rain ink!? Everything with be all shadowfied lol. All I know is that shadow is probably sticky. It sticks to buildings, people, everything. So cleaning it must be no easy task. We don't credit ourselves enough for that. No rapo janitor can clean that mess. Also imagine Drew as a janitor cleaning up the levels. Idk why, but that's funny. He's just walking around with a janitor cart, a mop for a sword, and a vacuum on his back. We don't pay him enough for that. We should give him a raise. DID YOU HEAR THAT DREW? YOU'RE GETTING A RAISE AFTER 10 YEARS OF HARD LABOR! I hope that's enough to keep him around. Is Shadow goo just goop, or is it more? Does it just sit there, or does it bubble up and move? If it does, it's probably because of MAGIC! After all, there are shadow creatures. ...is all shadow alive? Or are just the shadow creatures alive? And if Wilfre dies, and the magic is lost, how long would it take for the shadows to loose their magic and life source? And when they die in this way, do they just grow limp, or do they vanish completely? I mean, they vanish when drew goes on his killing... uh I mean... CLEANING SPREE. When he does that, does their energy just go into the air? Probably. But what if it's absorbed by Drew? Like he absorbs their souls and grows strong. And Wilfre is all like, "wtf!?!?". ...What if when the shadows die WILFRE absorbs them? The HE would be all powerful. Or what if BOTH OF THEM absorbed shadow energy? Then they would both be op and when they fight, the world blows up. And if Wilfre wins, and absorbs Drew's energy he becomes THE ULTIMATELY ULTIMATE SHADOW MASTER OF WONDROUS DESTRUCTION. He used to just be Shadow Master. Now he is more than op. HE IS INVINCIBLE!!!!

What if shadow ISN'T mass? What if it isn't energy? What if shadow is just an illusion? What if shadow is just darkness. The lack of light. Hmm... Shadow is strange. It sticks to you, corrupts your mind, blocks out the light, making you only see the darkness around you. That's what happened to Wilfre. I guess after all this rambling, I realized that shadow and darkness is simply a metaphor for life and death and how we deal with it. Or something deep like that.
