⏤ She never thought that this day would come, the day she would be in doubt about what to do with her money. Luckily, it isn't like the days she is used to worrying about paying the bills to have a place to sleep and food on the table. In the Beaufort household Elizabeth was responsible for the finances she was the only knows who knew how to use it in an intelligent way, not waste it at once to be jeopardized in the future. And the first thing that came on her mind was giving a gift to her father, despite he wasn't deserving any of it. All the things that came to her mind were mostly to please anyone but her. ⏤ Maybe it was a time for a bit of self-treat, she deserved to be a little spoiled after years of hard work.

Damien suggested that she could do a makeover in her own place or maybe buy a new place to move in. ⏤ It was one of these days, that Elizabeth was struggling with depression. She couldn't find any reason to stand up from the bed, her twins were playing, and making a big mess in the living room. She was hidden underneath her bed, in a fetal position looking at nothing not wanting to get up or leave that spot. Maybe by staying under the bed, her children wouldn't see their mother sad. Not many people have entered her place. Damien was one of the few she was ever allowed to visit her home. The familiar footsteps were slow, not hectics like the tiny little footsteps she is used to hearing all the time.

At first, she thought could be from her dad's footsteps. But then she realized she was rather familiar with the sounds of his steps, and the sounds of this one weren't exactly like her father's, and she turned her face to see who was in her bedroom. She was surprised to see Damien. Upon his next words… He is right. She never asked for help from anyone, only when the shit got to the fan.
