TRIGGER WARNINGS: murder, death, child abandonment
What happens when a French gardener Claude and a socialite divorced Stella became lovers? This is how Elizabeth came to the world. She was born in Australia, Sydney. Her grandparents by her mother's side, weren't thrilled with the news. But they tried to make it, their romance and their little family. At the age of 5, Elizabeth and her parents moved to the U.S. seeking the 'American dream'.
Arriving in the States, they tried to adapt to the new life, but Stella wasn't very happy. She misses her old life in Australia where she had everything and there had to battle to get her things. Eventually, the fights became constant, and Claude tried everything to fix it, although he didn't have the budget to give what his wife wanted.
When Elizabeth was 6 years old, her mother said she was going on a trip and would back. And she never back. She abandoned her, and her father.
Years and years later, she met a guy named Jack, and the pair quickly became a couple and rushed to a wedding (both needed money). He was a mechanic, and she wished to become an interior designer one day.
( tw: drugs ) The money from her wedding with Jack helped her to put her father in rehab, he was chemical dependent and she had to take care of him ( which was the main reason she wanted to marry as soon as she could ) , and her husband on the other hand needed the money to pay some drug dealers he owed during the time he was suffering addiction ( Elizabeth wasn't aware of this side from her husband ) .
A tragedy of destiny came when her husband was brutally murdered, a few days before the twins were born. The killer mistook him with somebody else. He wasn't the target. After the death of her husband, it was hard to raise her children and she felt bad for all the effort her father was making for her, and his grandchildren. She did a lot of odd jobs to help her children and her father as well, this is when she met someone, who suggested her work in a club that was looking for new strippers and paid well.
She went to get information and decided to give it a shot. It was the fastest way to get money and paid well, compared to her other jobs. At home, people are unaware of what she does for work, and she would rather things be kept this way. Her father helps her with the twins.
When her twins were two years old, she by chance met with their biological father, who was a man she had besotted for in the past and gone without giving any explanation of his life. As soon as they were together and found out her twins all this time were actually from him, Alexander Calder.
( tw kidnap, pregnancy ) After deciding to be together, Elizabeth was kidnapped by one of the rivals from her boyfriend's work, she stayed a month missing when Alex finally was able to found her, during this time he stayed with their children.
A little bit after that she found out she was pregnant again of twins ( again ) , on Valentine's Day, she had a premature delivery of her identical twin boys Leo and Theo.
