🎨 - dragon me is actually entirely black and white other than magic stuff like eyelights and blush, he dyes his fluff brown, paints his horns, and draws the yellow + teal patterns on :3

The black swirls are the only natural/permanent patterns he has.

This is because in his original universe his design was never developed past the point of a black and white sketch. Now with the paints his magic is multicoloured, but his body is still monochrome.

Silly me trying to design a functional hood for a dragon instead of just making it ✨magically work✨ like any sane person would

Wot dust is a rainwing because l've never been able to resist an angsty rainwing oc

For those who don't know rainwings are a species of dragon that lives in rainforests! They are known for being very peaceful and for their bright color changing scales! Rainwings also have deadly venom that melts organic matter and can camouflage themselves perfectly in almost any environment(that's why he's not wearing a hood, because it would still be visible)

A rainwing's scale colors often represent different emotions! Wof dust's current colors are partly because of his mental state but also because of him not wanting to show any other colors. White usually represents pain/shock, grey is usually for sadness or blankness, and black means rage.

I kinda wanna make these a more serious wof au instead of just pretty designs I can't stop thinking about killer always trying to get dust to change his colors

I made a thing for dragon nightmare :D I’m sorry if it’s too dark he’s just being spooky 😭

This was rlly fun to make and I’m 90% sure that’s because I didn’t bother trying to draw his talons properly. Blobby paws only.

Idk if I mentioned before but I changed his horns to be more smooth and curved cuz the way it was before was weirdly hard to draw. Also he and Dream have wings(because they are not normal monsters) but corrupted nightmare can sometimes not have wings cuz he’s a shapeshifter, so it’s mostly gonna depend on if I feel like drawing them or not XD
