🐈⬛ Prayer to Bast Before Cleaning the House
Dua Bast, Goddess of the Family and Home,
I Honor You today, with the act of cleansing my home.
I Thank You for the shelter of these walls,
The heat of the indoors,
The fresh air of the outdoors,
The quiet strength that surrounds me.
Bast, Giving All Life,
I Thank You for the joys of my space, little and large -
Warm sun on the floor, clean water,
Still moments of peace.
I Ask You, dear Bast,
Watch over this home, and those who occupy it -
Watch over my partner, our animals, and me -
Watch over the owner of the home, so kind to offer us this dwelling.
Guard the thresholds, protect the corners,
And allow harmony to settle like incense in every room.
May joy pounce through the halls,
Through the gardens, all like a cat at play,
And may fear find no purchase here.
Thank You, dear Bast.
