A young being stood in the light
Half (its) mind tainted with blight
Standing still in a profound daze
(It) jumped in fright at the absence of rays
Shadows crept as the moon did wane
(It) tried to run, but did in vain
Nowhere to go, no one to call
(It) had to choose or else (it'd) fall
Then a silent twinkle caught (it's) eine
Seemingly frozen in a fragment of time
A star, a star so bright
Blazingly white with millions in sight
(It) smiled and stood taller, and taller still
Laughing in bliss at the cricket's soft trill
Where there is darkness, light would soon follow
Like a gem in a molten stone so hollow
Also in light there may be shadow
Like shoals in waves so shallow
Life and Death
Lust and Love
To Live or to die?
To be truthful or lie?
Run or hide
in your decision your future may lie.
