I don't have the Dragon/Fire dual-type Eeveelution designed yet, but that is the plan! lol

Considering Fire/Dragon eeveelutions: how much you know about Winx? You can troll people making BLOOMEON😆

Haha! Winx wasn't really my thing, so I had to look up this reference, but that would be a funny subversion of expectations. I'm not much of a troll, so I plan to play this one straight ;)

But if you're desiring a Winx-inspired dual type, I feel like Faereon fits the Winx aesthtic pretty well!

what do you suppose any of the unused normal type combos would be like, ie normal rock, normal bug, normal ice etc

I have a pretty good sense of the Normal-types, actually!

I like to keep some mystery for when my final designs drop so I won't go into specfics for future dual-types, but I think of the "normal" element to be "regular mammal/animal". So for example, with Soleon (Fire/Normal), the inspiration was a fire lion, where the fire element wasn't overpowering. I have a lot of Normal- dual-types with their inspirations all set :)

Are there any eeveelution type combinations you don't have any idea on how to tackle?

In general I've found I struggle most with Dark, Psychic, Fighting, and Steel types. Dark and Psychic because they're a little more vague/nebulous than elemental (which come to me more naturally), Fighting because I don't know a ton about different martial arts/fighting styles and conceptually just don't find it as interesting, and Steel because I like to ground my Eeveelutions in nature and metallic elements can clash with that. That said, I still have a lot of ideas for those types, but I gravitate towards them less.

I have spreadsheet where I keep track of my Dual Type ideas and inspirations, which I just checked, and actually Rock is the most empty; I guess I feel the inspirations can get a bit repetitive.

I have a lot of fleshed-out ideas ready to excecute though :)

Hi, I wrote to you earlier that Eeveelutions are my favorite part of your blog. If you don't mind, I'd like to give you my own ideas for dual-type Eevee evolutions, but these are just the types and themes. I've come up with some ideas, but I'll just list a few to keep it short. If you want, you can use any of the suggestions as inspiration, but I'm sure you have your own ideas. Here they are: Ground/Psychic, theme: Ancient Egypt; Fighting/Dark, theme: Ninja; Rock/Ice, theme: Mountain climate; Flying/Water, theme: Hurricane; Steel/Fighting, theme: Knight; Fighting/Grass, theme: Tiger Psychic/Poison, theme: Hallucinations Fairy/Flying, theme: Alicorn

Hey there, thanks for sharing your ideas with me! I am a big spreadsheet/organization person, so I actually have a spreadsheet to keep track of my Eeveelution ideas and inspirations. Some of your ideas overlaps with ones I already have, and some are new; I took note of your ideas for inspriation though, thank you!
