17. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

Nidhogg prefers simple clothes that function like they’re supposed too. He’s very no-frills approach, and seldom wears something thats formal in wear. There is no ritual, other than find the cleanest and well repaired shirt. 

When he was younger, the great wyrm was into looking like he was above mortal status and thus tried to emulate it well. He often borrowed designs from the Far East to wear, and generally try to give the air of being important (which... he kinda was...).

18. Favorite beverage?

The blood of his enemies. Water, plain and simple. Mortal drinks do little in terms of enjoying it.

[hands]: are they large or small, do they have pianist’s fingers or short stubby ones, do they tend to get sweaty or are they always dry, is the skin rough or delicate, are the nails painted or chewed or sharp, etc.

Caius Ballads hands, slightly large in proportion and bear various scrapes and weathering from a period of extreme experiences, harsh, rigorous conditions whilst years of strenuous exercise since dubbed a disciple among his mentor. They are somewhat covered callous and require some special ointment or balm time to time on the palm. Usually, they are fairly soft and not too rough, coarse as one would anticipate. Fingers are fair and lengthy somewhat and covered with few scant markings from earlier battles, guardians and beast, they are dry usually unless he is under great a deal of heat.  When examined closely, there may be a small deposit of dirt underneath exposed fingernails, usually groomed and short, arguing with possibly scarred tissue mostly located certainly around the palms and few surrounding the fingers from earlier days. Now present days, they are hidden and protected weathering save for his fingers. 

[legs]: are they solidly built, short and stubby, or long and graceful, do they have knobbly knees or rounded knees, what’s their gait, etc.

Since I have already gone over the majority of this question, finding most of it rather redundant. I will answer portions of the question, t he amount of fanservice surrounded around his legs is pretty big lol.

Caius’s legs are exceptionally long but lanky, solid due to his athletic build. (literally looks like a gazelle here) In aspects of the knee’s strongly believe they are rounded

The pale green eyes of the young dragon looked up to meet the Kitsune’s own golden hues. He...wasn’t exactly what she had been expecting either. When her guardians had told her they had arranged a marriage for her, she had expected it to be another dragon...certainly not a kitsune, of all things.

But, she couldn’t help think that he was handsome...perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad.

“Nor are you what I was expecting,” she replied softly. But she gave him a warm smile. “However, I’m not one to argue with my guardians. They must truly believe it is for the best.” 

‘Or they just want to finally get rid of you,’ a nagging part of her mind said, but she tried to push it away. “I am Aleryth Rhy’lle, Sole surviving member of the Rhy’lle line,” she said with a formal curtsy. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

3 headcanon stars (for either WoL Yuun or Tiamat)

for each “⭐️” I get, i’ll write a headcanon about our muses

[ Three for each bc I can >:D ]

1). Nidhogg doesn’t begrudge Yuun for his actions, knowing now that had he continued, much more would have been lost. While he disagrees with Ishgard and how it should be destroyed brick by brick; the great wyrm and him seem to have an understanding - albeit a silent one. 

2). He doesn’t mind it if Yuun seeks him out for quiet company. They’re both immortal beings (by technicality on Yuun’s part), and both seek the solace away from mortals. Tho the great wyrm’s mostly silent, he does enjoy the occasional conversation with the Miqo’te. 

3). Often times when there is a need, Yuun will ‘hire’ Nidhogg to be a second set of hands, as it’s difficult for people to lie around the Xaela - a fact that the Miqo’te uses whenever he can persuade the great wyrm to help him. 

For @meracydian -

1). Ever since Nidhogg has been revived and brought back to the world, he started to look to his brood sister for guidance as he’s uncertain about a lot of things. Much like a young brother looking to an elder sibling, he can be fussy if something went wrong; or she doesn’t talk to him. 

2). The best way Tiamat can get his attention is by simply pushing aside what he’s working on, and put herself in his view. He can get tunnel visioned, and she found it was an effective means to get him to pay attention. This action varies, and often times doesn’t give results she likes. 

3). Tiamat enjoys listening to Nidhogg’s ballads. They help her sleep when she feels the ache beginning to grab hold, and it calms her nerves when the nightmares arise. As such she tries to travel with him when they’re in the same area.
