I would like her to be canon but her existence hasn't been acknowledged by anyone and all references to her are actually to 'him' examples being Elizabeth and Aigis from Persona 4 Arena that is well after Persona 3. Sorry if I placed doubt but that's how I know I exist...With doubt. As long she can express doubt.... Doubt of her existence... Otherwise how do we know you and I exist? Sorry if my argument is weak... And it can be wrong with different timelines and such, but that is what I believe
She hasn’t been acknowledged because she existed in a different timeline, and different timelines are CANON for the Persona series. The current timeline, in fact, was originally an alternate one, which was created to replace the first Persona-Universe timeline,in which humanity was destroyed because the heroes - surprise, surprise - screwed up. The P2 duology was all about that. And don’t say “That has nothing to do with P3”, because P3 makes direct references back to the events of P2 in several places, most importantly when Mitsuru and her father talk about how the Shadow research originally started. P3 also repeatedly made references to timetravel, saying that it’s possible through the power of Shadows and in The Answer, SEES combined Persona Powers almost killed them all by ripping them out of the timeline. (Which is very similar to how in P2 the timeline was changed by Persona Users calling onto their Personas) Then there’s also the fact that the P3P Opening Movie uses dozens of dozens of vocabulary from multiple languages that’s mostly related to Multiverse-Theories in some way. Heck, the Persona Subseries was started with the game “SMT if”, which is an alternate timeline to SMT! I think it’s more of a stretch to say “An Alternate Timeline isn’t Canon” in this series than to say “An Alternate Timeline is Canon”. It’s like the Zelda games, where there’s, like, 3 or 4 timelines and nobody knows how to order them right, but it’s still pretty clear that every single game is still canon and not just a “gimmick” (Well, with the exception of some mini-game stuff… What was up with that Tingle thing!?)
dualself reblogged your photo:The subject prevented at least one casualty I...
Can this be trusted? I don’t want this to be too good to be true.
Who that person Makoto saved is beyond me, but it really does say that. I feel like that person is going to be an important plot point later on, and if I'm right, Hamuko fights the bill.
As I still wish for that the Female protagonist to be canon... What do you think her role will be if she does get to be a part of continuity?
Again, I never considered her "non-canon", as the existence of alternate universes is very much *canon* to the Persona Universe. So why would you consider her non-canon in first place?
I am quite sure the Alternate Timelines will eventually play a role and then we might hear about her.
Since the new famitsu scan of Ken and Koromaru also show Theo in one screenshot.... What do you think is his purpose in getting involved?
Elizabeth's Arcade Mode show her getting herself directly involved with the crisis but unable to stop it. I feel Margaret and Theodore might finally decide to just screw the rules and jump in in order to help their sister to not get herself killed (and only that). It could also be that Theodore might have a reason to reveal the existence of the other timeline to the characters, because with the constant hinting at time-related shenanigans, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a plot point.
