When new characters are introduced in the comic, will you hold auditions for them?

When new characters are introduced, we’ll open auditions probably 2-3 chapters ahead of time. For instance, if a character is introduced in Chapter 23, we will open auditions for the character while we are in production for Chapter 20-21. It will give us enough time to find the appropriate voice actor as well as have them get into production as soon as possible, rather than waiting around waiting for us to finish previous chapters.

Right now, we’ve cast all characters up to Chapter 10.

Hello there!

We love the webcomic too! However, we aren’t the authors of it. The author is Michelle Czajkowski. You can find the official tumblr at avasdemon.

There’s no specific date that Chapter Four will be posted but we’re putting the final touches on it and it should be ready in the next few weeks!

I'm curious as to why you changed what Wrathia / Ava wrote in the notebook in the very beginning? The original is "Die in a fire, Ava Ire."

Actually, we didn’t change it.

Originally, the text in the notebook was a bit more adult. Within the last year or so, Michelle began to edit out the adult language from the comic for publishing as per requests from the publisher. The publishing deal fell through but Michelle decided to keep the changes and to not use as much adult language in the future.

Our dub has been around since before the panel changes. When we began the project, we used what we had at the time, which were the original, unedited panels.

Have you guys cast roles for the remaining characters that aren't on your cast page?

We’ve cast all characters up to Chapter 10, which includes Prudith, Crow, and Raven. We add characters and the voice actors who play them as they appear in each chapter we do.

Will you ever be holding auditions? ;;

Currently we’ve cast all roles up to Chapter 10. Our next round of auditions will probably include Strategos Six, guards, followers, Gev, etc. It will likely occur around the time we publish Chapter 9 or 10. We’re finishing up Chapter Four right now. It will probably be another year or more before we open our next round of auditions.
