Over Being Under - Drawn (Track Review)
Dublin based five piece, Over Being Under are one of the youngest bands in the scene and definitely one of the fastest growing. Last years Drowning Out EP was one of the best releases that dropped and the band established themselves as ones to watch. Supporting big names like Gnarwolves, the band are on the rise.
A teaser from their upcoming split, Drawn, shows definite progression from the band. The melodic introduction has a strong Pianos Become the Teeth influence that progresses into a beast of a song, channelling all the emotion of the lyrics into the perfect musical accompaniment. The breaks in the music, and the mixed pacing, give the impression that this is a breakdown in a song, with each break needed to think and catch your breath between each punishing verse. Everyone, absolutely everyone should be getting ready for the next release from these lads.
