Vitamin E
One of the reasons we chose to infuse our glosses with vitamin E is that it acts as an antioxidant, which means it fights against the skin cell damage believed to be caused by free radicals. Free radicals are molecules in the body that may harm the cellular processes. Our lips are exposed free radicals via pollution and ultraviolet rays from the sun.
Beyond its effects as an antioxidant, vitamin E is also believed to protect skin from damage directly caused by ultraviolet rays. Your lips are often exposed to the sun and don't contain the protective pigment melanin, so choosing a lip care product such as Duchess Lip Gloss which contains vitamin E can help protect your lips during the day and possibly repair damage after the day is done
So the gist is as an ingredient in lip gloss, vitamin E may help you maintain the soft, youthful texture of your lips!
If your lips are dry or chapped, vitamin E alone probably won't be able to provide much relief. So if you want to soothe your ailing lips we recommend a sugar scrub followed by lip care products that include moisturizing ingredients, such olive oil or beeswax.

Tips to achieve soft, smooth kissable lips!
Exfoliating lips is a must if you want to achieve sexy glossy lips. It’s a fabulous way to remove dull, dry flakes and will keep your lips looking soft & smooth. I exfoliate every night with a washcloth however I love to have a sugar scrub on Sundays.
Exfoliating Methods
There are several way to exfoliate your lips. Some of our favorites include:
~Using a wet washcloth and softly rubbing over lips (quick & easy in the shower)
~Softly rubbing with a sugar scrub.
~Brush lips with a very soft toothbrush.
Sugar Scrub for Lips
Mix olive oil and add a pinch of brown sugar. Gently smooth over your lips and let sit for a minute. Use your finger and gently rub scrub in small circles over lips. Rinse sugar away with water. Apply 100% Vitamin E.
