Aspen is the black sheep of the family. After professing her love of music to her family, she was disowned and cast out. Countless times her family covered up her klepto-tendencies but now they came in handy, as she sold her hoard of goods to purchase a block of cheap land in the desert. Now with little more than a tent and some basic items to her name, she is starting from scratch, hoping to get a foothold in the door with her music. Will she make it or will she succumb to the thrill of the steal to get by?

Hi everyone! I got completely lost trying to resume my RoM story, so I decided to show you my own gameplay. This is The Experiences Challenge by @duchesty. I’m currently on gen 5. Meet Meli, the heir, Diyano, her baby daddy, and Valentein, their son!

Meli used to live in Sulani but got sick and tired of living on an island. She moved to the big city when she just turned a teenager and has been making her money by posting videos online.

ugh i seriously cannot waiiitt for your roarsome kids set! it looks so fabulous and i'm glad it's not... a vomiting explosion of color like most other kids-themed things on the sims are. it's like... the sims team thinks rainbows=childhood for some reason, and most cc creators kind of follow suit. which is nice sometimes, but we need variety. anyways tysm for making a more neutral, modern looking kids set! is there any other kids-themed cc out there that you really enjoy or drew inspo from?

Oh, mine is definitely colourful, but not in a unicorn-barfed-on-you kind of way. I think kids should be kids and not too grown-up and definitely encourage their imagination. Its one of the few times in a person’s life when its not socially unacceptable to like hot pink or neon green. But again, you really do need to pair it with neutrals so it doesn’t look like a box of crayolas were left in the sun to melt. 

As for kids sets that i enjoy? its not something I have seen a lot of in the community because i just don’t look for them. I drew inspiration from stuff in pinterest because thats where i do all my furniture inspo shopping. It’s probably good too, i know that I have a unique taste in furniture and it means there will hopefully be minimal overlap with what is already out there. Pinterest also keeps me stocked with new sofa designs XD

for your townie remakes, you use this one blush/eyeshadow from plumb-boop called aphrodite alot, but it's no longer available to download. is there any chance you could reupload it / add it to your townie remake downloads?

so i'm a huge science nerd and today, i read an article about MRT (mitochondrial replacement therapy) which is basically genetically engineering three-parent embryos to rule out genetic diseases & shit like that. i immediately thought of venus & her creation storyline and was like "TAI DID IT FIRST!" lol

That’s so interesting! I’ll have to look into that article because I’m really curious now. If a three parent baby is born I’m going to be so excited, haha.
