This is one duckling in a family of statues found in Boston Public Garden, USA. The statues (eight ducklings and their mother) were sculpted by Nancy Schön and are based on the famous children’s book Make Way for Ducklings which was written and illustrated by Robert McCloskey.

When I visited Boston a couple of years back, I had to see this and buy the book of course!

Extinct Duck Statue- Elmira, New York

There's something extremely mournful about this tourist trap. Located in an open area of Brand Park near downtown Elmira is a large-ish statue dedicated to the memory of the Labradour Duck, last seen in the park in 1878. Not much is known about what caused the ducks population to decline into oblivion yet the statue was erected in 2009 for all to remember its existence.
