I like them. Depends on the writer obviously but… Usually they’re good child characters... Maybe not back when they were little brats but they got character development.

My unpopular opinion about this character
I dunno? I guess that I prefer them coming to live with Donald when they were at least 6 instead of being raised from an earlier age.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Dunno. I guess with their mum? I dunno what Don Rosa was planning for their dad exactly but for me it was always one of those kind of mysteries that didn’t need solving really... You could imply things... I always assumed Della was too young to have kids, the father left her (maybe he was a golddigger and was doing it just in the hopes of money from Scrooge) Lot of those things are something you could sort of imply in a duck comic but making it an actual plot might be... Well you could make a plot where the father comes back and the boys end up realizing Donald is their real dad but it’d sort of leave the thing where you have now introduced this relative so do you have good ideas what to do with him?
