Funnily enough, my dad worked as a techer in metro Detroit from around 2000 to 2004 and ended up with an iBook G4 when the district went bust and they closed a bunch of schools. We also didn't have to go shopping for school supplies for several years. I think I've got the iBook downstairs, but I haven't used it in years.
Shit man, it really is that bad in Detroit? Even in 2004? Like a district going bust is pretty bad.
My dad’s work was an Apple school for years, I think I said that in the tags. Some years back, I got my hands on an all-in-one-beige G3...but there was something wrong with the CRT, and according to my dad, it smoked and probably caught on fire. That one never made it home. I’ve wished to hell and back to get something 70s or 80s, but I think that stuff is long gone, unfortunately.
