#62 Duck Hunt Duo The unlikely teamup between a hunting and a duck. Alhough being former enemies, they joined forces to kick some butt in Smash. Duck Hunt was the very first videogame I played in my life, I remember being like 3 years old and an uncle had the NES cartridge that was a split between the original Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt. I was ecstatic by this new kind of toy, I'd never seen anything like it before. We used to have to press the Zapper Light Gun against the screen to try to shoot at the ducks (it didn't work to well if I recall) and every time we missed, there came that dog, laughing at us for being such sucky players. I recall finding somewhere a thread in some forums of a guy, proposing duck hunt dog as an idea for a new smash character and thinking it was very random, but it would be pretty cool if it happened. Lo and behold a year later it DID happen and it was one of the most unique characters in the game. His moveset pays homage to many of the games from the NES that required the used of the Zapper Gun, with bandits, frisbees and exploding cans. This is a character that came out of left field and it shows again how Smash is a great collection of Nintendo History. #duckhunt #duckhuntduo #duckhuntdog #duck #dog #hunting #retro #arcade #namco #bandainamco #retrogaming #eighties #nintendofanart #smash #gaming #videogames #videogameart #gameart #gamingart #supersmashbros #smashultimate #smash5 #illustration #characterdesign #illustragram #nintendogram #jorgemarme #jmarme https://www.instagram.com/p/BvKPJyxHMIH/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mf4cm2vtce95
