Nitori was able to make himself calm enough to the point where he was just smiling like an idiot, and he did so widely at Momo once he slung an arm over his shoulder.
These movie nights that Nitori and Momo had made a weekly thing were fun, especially when Nitori was having a bad week. Sometimes, their movie nights would be the highlight of Nitori’s week, and he’d look forward to them. It was like second nature, what they were doing. Either a cheesy love flick, too-try-hard comedy, or a random selection such as tonight was popped in, popcorn was made, and Momo and Nitori would cuddle up to each other on the couch. Momo would make comments and remarks about the acting and jokes and Nitori would laugh and try defending the movie for no reason, and it was happy, it was calm, it was perfect. The night usually ended with one or sometimes both of the males falling asleep on the couch, thought Nitori wasn’t complaining.
Nitori grabbed the remote and hit play, placing it back onto the table and making himself comfortable in the crook of Momo’s arm. “Alright, but you better not start squealing when the beetles come on or I’ll give you a reason to squeal.” The silverette giggled and threw a piece of popcorn at Momo’s chest, quieting as the movie started.
