Sports films are about as interesting as the skin on the bottom of my foot.

I know I'm not the best mental or physical health, but I hate it when someone tells me how to approach my well being. Especially the extended family that I never see and who thinks they can tell me how I feel.

You made me feel so uncomfortable and shitty, that I left. And then you have the nerve to tell me I'm too sensitive? Fuck right off, okay. I never wanted to tell you what was wrong anyway, I just wanted fucking Tylenol, but you absolutely needed to know why and kept prodding until I told you.

Guess suffering in silence is the only way to go these days.

Well, I don't consider it taboo, but so many people do. Its kind of hard to explain what I mean, because I don't think there is anything wrong with how I express my sexuality, but whenever I hear people putting my lifestyle down without even realizing that I practice it, it sucks. It makes me not want to tell anyone. I've lied to a few friends of mine about this. Only one person really knows, and knows the full extent of my fetishes. Its just really difficult to get people to understand what I mean when I say I like the things I do.

I just had a really important conversation about politics, society, racism, sexism, xenophobia and the ways of our people with a complete stranger.

This is when I realized: all humans ever need is a connection. Not even necessarily sexual, or romantic. Companionship, camaraderie, acceptance versus just simple recognition or approval. 

I've been approaching life the wrong way. I've been trying to befriend people with the mentality of 'whats in it for me'. That isn't what its about. Its not about getting anything out of another person. Its about sharing thoughts and experiences. Its about teaching someone or being taught. Its about making mistakes and loving without inhibitions. 

I think I'm starting to understand life a little bit better.
