i have a little theory about 2x07. the title of the episode is Como La Flor which is the Selena song. In the song the lyrics in the pre chorus translate to "Like the flower that you gave me with so much love". Max gave Liz the flower on his lapel on the night of prom when they were at the gazebo! I think maybe we're gonna get a callback to that! Maybe Liz kept the flower all these years? Just something to think about.
Ohh, that’s so sweet! Personally I do think the Como La Flor song will be more about Ortecho family, but I do like the idea of like... Liz trying to connect to amnesia!Max with referencing the prom boutonnière. That flower is not something I imagine Liz taking with her out of Roswell, but I could see Rosa finding the flower pressed in a book or something in their closet. Also those lyrics would be pretty on a gifset over the prom scene 👀
