INSPIRATION: Oversized Coats

We've been complaining about the cold for weeks, but Winter (that bitch!) still won't let up :( I wish I was a grizzly bear and could hunker down in a warm, dark cave and hibernate for a few months (with a television and rations of snacks) until this freezing weather goes away.

The second best thing is of course a second skin, a coat that fits like a cocoon, a coat that boasts deep pockets to hide gloved hands and extra change to buy hot coffees to hold close to our faces to keep warm. We're all about outerwear with generous proportions, taking inspiration from sartorial shapes from the 1980s and Isabel Marant's winter collections.
