It was nothing like Lucina had ever seen before. Her eyes were lit up - perhaps a bit too much - as she gazed upon the other being’s self. After a quick look around, she realized that it was probably rude to just... stare like that, and so quickly Lucina placed a hand over her heart and gave a quick bow.

     “My apologies... I am just very impressed. It’s not every      day I get to see something so impressive up close.”

He howled, sorrowfully so. Blood spilled from his mouth as he cried, throwing his head back. As broken a man in death as he’d ever been in life, it seemed. His hands reached for survivors weakly, only to recoil when another beast would attack. He shivered, uselessly, until a lone being caught his widened eyes.

A sob shook through his malnourished body as he bolted passed him. Possessing a street lamp, the bulb exploded before the entire thing collapsed to the ground, barely missing it’s target.

The Specter exited his temporary host, staring his new prey down with wide, glossed-over eyes.

The lady is protected from rust by the magic woven into the metal by her father, but knows other mechanical individuals may not be so fortunate. This person is much, much taller than her, but Orianna tries to extend the kindness of sharing her umbrella to the best of her ability.

Standing on the tips of her feet and reaching as far as she can ends up only shielding the stranger’s shoulder from the rain. Feeling the umbrella brush against their head leads Orianna to immediately retract her arm a bit, embarrassed.

❝ Oh, I’m so sorry. I was just — ah, ❞ she starts explaining, only to realize as the words are coming out that they are not upset. The lady relaxes back onto her heels, holding the umbrella over her own head once more.

❝ I like the rain, too. ❞

It feels different now.

❝ Thank you for offering, but I am fine. People do not usually stand in the rain to do their thinking. Are you all right? ❞

          The last round of reconstructive surgery had came and went after he was handled like a rag doll. It was strongly advised he’d stay in bed for at least 24 hours before he was allowed to move on his own. Strongly advised. He did 16 hours of that, but waiting any longer was wasting time. As far as he was concerned, he was moving forward on his own in this endeavor with this investigation. Not exactly ideal but Aizawa was used to working alone anyway.

          Which is why the broken hero found himself in a wheelchair, a block away from the hospital. He made it this far on his own but with the painkillers starting to wear off, he was struggling. Everything sharp and throbbing. It was still a few miles away from the Agency at the very least but hey... Just a push at a time. It easier to go down a hill than go up one and as he slowly eased the chair down the decline, focusing on his hands over the wheels, the slow descending chair almost caught the leg of a massive figure. Almost.

         “My apologies,” the hero huffed, yanking the break. “Apparently I’m not aware of my surroundings.”
