Mental state: Atem is a little mentally imbalanced. He was trapped in a place that was nothing but sensory deprivation and torture for three thousand years. There are certain things he’s not a fan of. Darkness. He sleeps with a night light. (A planetarium) he won’t allow anyone to blindfold him, and he doesn’t like feeling trapped. He’s not a fan of silence and will talk just to fill it. Not to mention he needs to touch someone to assure him he’s alive. That’s why Atem cuddles with pretty much anyone. It’s the assurance that he’s not a spirit once again.
