Death Doulas Are Changing End of Life Aesthetics

End-of-life doulas explain to families what death is going to look and sound like. 

This article inspires difficult thought and challenges realization. Art doesn’t stop being art when the artist dies. An artist doesn’t stop working because they are dying. Legacy doesn’t exist in the minds of the easily deflected. You don’t have to be a patron. All yoy have to do is show up and think!

I’m not completely sure what these people are doing, but the activity alone is respectable, considering the traditional groups and venues are avoiding death like it was contagious. Cue curious laughter.
