It's weird how every person has a different perspectives of enjoyment.

I want a thoughtful road trip, with long walks on the beach.

Where as they want a boom boom car and splashing in the sea.

I want deep talks while the wave leaves trinkets of sand stuck between my toes.

They want pictures to remember the times by.

The heart to heart conversations are all I want and need to have a memory stuck in my head forever.

Maybe the pictures are clicked to show the world the amount of fun they had. But the enjoyment within comes when you actually have something and someone to remember the place by, the time by.

I don't want the world to know that the special things I do. They are only meant for me.

So here's an idea from the movie/book All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven.

One should visit at least two places which mean the most to you whenever you are moving to a new city or a country.

Being a Geographer and an individual who shifted to new cities every 2-3 years, I think it's a wonderful thing to do.

Growing up I realised there is only a few actual locations that we remember. Be it because of a person or a beautiful sunset or a small road side stall very popular amongst your friend circle. It could be anything or anywhere.

Watching the movie I realised that I should do that. No because I'm depressed or I want to get over something. It's because those will be the places that I will want to think about the most when I leave. I will want to remember moments and people from there.

So here's to visiting those places which mean the most. Those places which bring out all the colours in you, at full brightness. Here's to memories.

Strangers : Perfect Pretenders

I love meeting new people. 

On flights, on local buses, trains or even when I am waiting for a friend in a mall. I like looking at people and try to think about things like ‘Is she having a good day?’, ‘where is he going?’, ‘what is he thinking about?’ so on.

I find it intriguing that it actually keeps me busy. 

Since I spend so much time thinking about other people this thought crossed my mind. THEY CAN BE WHATEVER THEY WANT TO BE IN THAT PERIOD OF 5 OR 6 MINUTES. 

As real as I am with them its not necessary that they are doing the same. they might be hiding something. Or they could be a horribly bad person or a extremely good person. I MIGHT NEVER KNOW.

I think it’s amazing that one can be whatever we want, whenever they are meeting new people. One can be that nice person who everyone likes, and if one continues with that persona they could eventually become the best version of themselves.

Being a stranger to someone is so comforting. you can be strange and jelly fish and there is no way they would remember you in the next month of their lives. (that is only if you don’t cross them hundred and fifty times a day.)

I love meeting new people, they make me curious. 

AND CURIOSITY IS THE DRIVING FORCE IN ME.

It makes we want to live an adventurous life and experience new things, learn about other cultures, celebrate them and become a perfect stranger in someones life.

As they say ‘you don’t know it if you don’t go through it.’ Same is with people, they will be pretenders until an effort is made to know them.

Have you heard the new Alan Walker song Darkside?

Here are the lyrics in case you have not heard it:

“we don’t need the light

I was listening to this late at night a few days ago. Three forty-seven am to be exact! *yeah I was bored enough to check the time*

Since I have this weird thing for interpreting what the singer or the artist is tryin to say, I tried to figure this one out too. This part of the song does have a deep meaning. At least that is what I think.

Its talking ‘bout the darkness within us. Our fears, our distress, and most importantly our weaknesses. These are the things which generally pull us back from achieving our goals. By ‘our’ I am talking about the young generation as they have the most to gain and lose at the same time.

However, what I’m gonna say next is only for the teenage and the youth.

Not the others are old. Everyone can be eternally young if they want to be. like a normal conversation about age with my mom goes somewhat like this;

Mom- I’m 19

Me- But ma I’m almost 18 and a half.

Mom- your age is your problem but mine is in my hands and I’m 19. No further questions to be asked.

So, yeah getting back to my interpretation.

Its not until we know and give into our weakness and darkness that we will be able to know what we are capable of achieving. As the youth we have the strength to cope up with anything. We are in a position to strain ourselves physically and mentally. We have to give ourselves a chance to explore and develop.

And as far as adults are concerned, you guys can always dare to do and start the things you couldn’t experience during your young age.

So, until and unless we don’t give into and step into the dark sides of our soul, we’ll never be able to find our eternal bright light.

So that middle of the night I decided to experiment and search every possibility. Because I am very keen to look for my light and my strengths.

Here’s a little light on Me

So intro huh? Telling people about me? That’s something I’m worst at! Well I plan to stay anonymous. (Is that possible on Tumblr?!) Let’s see how long the works out. I do doubt my capabilities of telling lies. It’s so damn difficult. No kidding. But I’ll still try to put up all my experiences in the most realistic way possible. (Yes. I have a thing for saying contradicting things.)

I even doubt the probabilities of people reading this. But then again one never really knows what’s going to happen the very next second, hence I take the chances.

My username is so weird, right? An oxymoron, to be honest. You know, to opposite meaning words together. *I really do love distributing ‘gyaan’ (knowledge)* Keep up with me please.

DULLESTBRIGHT. Two words Dullest and Bright. Its like, when you keep all the dull things together one of things just poops out and you realise that; ‘Ahaaannn that’s bright!!’. It’s the same with people. No matter what people say to you, no matter how much they criticize you’ll always. ALWAYS. Be the brightest. It just needs the right eye. And I can assure someone out there will see the brightness in the dullest moments of you.

Complicated? Deep? Well, you could say that I have a nack for those things too!! I’m smart. No bragging.

So I guess this information is enough to start with.

I’ll put them in bullet points… to make it easier.

I love deep things and at the same time use up sarcasm so that people DO NOT notice.

I am totally high on music for the past few days. Call it mood swings or whatever.

My fan falling for celebrities goes on changing. One day I like this person and the other day a totally contrasting artist. But for the past few days I have this DJ in mind.

I have literally become a typical fangirl, a kind of fangirl I thought I would never be. *cannot help it now*

I have watched loads of his performances at Tomorrow Land, Cochella, Sunburn. (I have I have spelled all the events right.)

He’s young and good looking.

He’s inspiring.

He’s overflowing with energy.

He is like “jet lagged over jet lag”

He just realised his new song, HIGH ON LIFE

I OFFICIALLY LOVE MARTIN GARRIX and I guess I have been high on him for a while. (no exaggerating)

The way he joins his hands to say ‘thank you’ and t greet people. It’s just amazing!!!!!

Coming back to this new song. Lyrics follow:

I’ll definitely be the person who would be going around a million miles just to see him smile.

I know, I know I sound like a total freak! But you know what? I don’t care!!

Isn’t it just the best way to tell all his fans to live their life to the fullest. And be the reason people smile.

Since I watched a million of his interviews too, I’d love to quote him. I literally was shifting from the interview to my notes to take down what he was saying.

One of the best was;

Interviewer- so what do you do in your free time?

Martin- I make music *grins* it clams me and soothes me down.

And then there was I going ‘aaaaaaawwwwwwwwww!’

He literally does what he loves doing and loves sharing it with the world. Like wow!!! Well I should too, do something which is good for me and soothes me down. I am not sure what would that be. I’m looking for it though with all my heart.

The second thing he said;

“if you are not talking risks you are doing something wrong.”

Well. A great point again. Like really. He is like do what is right but you will have to take risks. If you are not talking risks then you will always be on that monotonous line. If you want to pursue what you love you’ll have to experiment.

I fully and deeply agree with him.

*After all he is my new celebrity crush and I’m his newest fan.*

These are the two I’m gonna mention right now, rest are for the other time.

He really does inspire me. And I would really love to meet him. Someone help me meet him!!!

The W’s And The H?

Now that I’ll be writing more like typing loooooaaadddssss, it’s better I just tell you all the basic and normal questions that come is one’s mind. At least it does come to my mind every time, so I guess, same goes everyone. 

*inserts a grin face*

(Can we use emojis here? Maybe I should take out and check out the features. Which I am too lazy to do.)

Okay so W’s?

Why? What? Where? When?

We used to call them all the ‘W’ questions. Well, I still do. I don’t know about you guys.

And the H?

How?

You see only one ‘H’ question that comes to mind. If there are more; go ahead and shower them on me. I’d love to answer them.

I’ll start with the W’s.

Why?

Umm, why do people blog? Maybe they have nothing else to do. (I really used to think that) But now I know. It is because they want people to know about them, to know how they feel, and yes to take out what the have in mind and is very difficult to do in person.

HOWEVER. I have a totally different reason. See I read this book. Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. Its about a girl named Penny who is kind off an introvert and hence, blogs anonymously to vent out all her feelings. She did that because keeping a diary felt empty to her and blogging helped her to connect to people. It seemed so interesting to do the same. I do have a diary an I do plan to maintain it but again it seems so interesting to just get out and connect to people. Soooo yeah!!! I thank Zoe Sugg to inspire me into all this blogging business. And my cute little friend who gifted my sister the book. (Yeah. The book was my sister’s. Then again what’s hers is mine. And books are meant to be shared if ones treat them properly.) And she also told me about Tumblr. Thank You both of youuuu <3.

What?

As I said in my last post, it is going to be all about my experiences. Let’s see how long I continue doing this. You see, I’m a very lazy person and I just hate typing. I am really slllloooooooowwwwwww. So it gets all irritating at times as I have a very savage sentence and then BOOM it is gone because I was too slow to type it down. Still I’ll do my best keeping up.

I’ll probably write about the songs and books I like too.

I also plan to post a few one liners and deep thoughts that come to my mind. I know at times I will become too tired or lazy to type and thus, that would be my backup. Telling ya before hand.

I will just basically write and type whatever is on my mind.

Where?

My location? India. Well. I get all free in hostel. I am doing my Graduation… away from home. Since I have a lot of free time I decided to do something constructive and this is what came to my mind. And its all easy to ignore people and get out of conversations in which I am least interested if my big brown eyes are glued to the laptop.

When?

I started yesterday i.e. 19 July 2018. And my exams start on 26 July 2018. So I start when my exams are around the corner. The thing is the mind wanders to all the places but to the books during this time. The study books. Do you get me? Its in all the damn places dreaming and going through all the memories on repeat.

And as far as staying active is concerned, I will try and post something at least twice a week. I will literally try my best.

Coming down to the H.

How?

How does one blog? I guess they just type and post and wait for people to see and read and give them their views. I probably will be doing the same.

But I don’t plan to use all the big words and write like things are should be written. I am gonna just write they way I converse in real life. The way I prooooolong the word while saying it. Or just go like gonna wanna and stuff like that. All this because it is going to make it more realistic and relatable. (open to suggestions though.)

I believe that answers the question ‘what is this girl gonna write about?’

It feels so good doing this even though my fingers are all numb from the typing.

Anyway, those are the perks of blogging I will have to bare those.
