Blessed as I am with extraordinary brainpower, I understood everything you told me.
Dumbledore, page 350 That sass tho.
Dumbledore just hardcore trolls Harry with the story of what happened to his hand, for like, the whole book. What happened to your hand? I'll tell you later. Look the ring, you got it when you hurt your hand? Yes and yes. How did you hurt your hand? I'll tell you later. Did you hurt your hand doing something cool? Omfg like so cool, but I'm not telling you.
I only have one problem with Dumbledore's toast to Cedric. I know it's supposed to be uplifting and encouraging but the quote is "...if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good and kind and brave because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort...." And tbh, that kind of encourages *not* being good or choosing what is right because here's an example of someone who choose right over easy and he died. Remember that when you have the same decision kids. And choose right so you can die too? Like, there should be a buffer sentence in there to help negate that sentiment.
The time may come when you will be very glad you saved Pettigrew's life.
Dumbledore to Harry The foreshadowing continues.
Dumbledore is just so damn cheeky.
He whirled his wand at the dementors. Shot silvery stuff at them. They left... right away....
Hermione about Dumbledore
"I think I should give an 11-year-old boy, the son of one of the worst troublemakers to ever grace this school, a tool for which to sneak out of the dorms and go anywhere he wants without getting caught. This sounds like such a good idea. Ten points to Dumbledore. " -Dumbledore, probably.
