seulgi had this love for trainees– not that the other members didn’t have– hence it was impossible for her not to be friends with one, at least. she likes seeing people grow, how they develop. it’s fascinating how they change and strive to do everything just to reach their dreams; she could see herself in them. yeri made seulgi smile enough.

“i’m going to be on that stage one day,”

seulgi turned her head at the company, her lips quickly twisting up into a smile. “yes, that’s the spirit!” swiftly, bouncing on her way even (despite the younger just being a few steps away), she wrapped her arms around her shoulders and gave her a loose hug, her palm patting her shoulder.

“we will all be on that stage one day, okay? we will,”

「 ✿ 」 Within the vacant but vast theater she feels small, even more so when standing besides Seulgi.  She’d been on stage before for SMTown’s family concert, but unlike the seniors who had performed before her she didn’t have a set fan base. This was all too obvious whenever she and the other rookie girls had stepped foot on stage. 

 It’s Seulgi’s energy that is quickly reflected upon the aspiring idol’s visage as she’s grinning from ear to ear, letting the balls of her feet  bounce her towards the older and into the arms that’s slung around her.  “Together this time, okay unnie? No one gets left behind.”  Positivity is her lucky charm, one that’s amplified when in the presence of  the ever so optimistic Kang Seulgi.  “Maybe after I debut we’ll get a chance to collaborate and really show  ‘em! You know, me and the other girls practiced  ‘Dumb Dumb’ so many times. It’s become so robotic. I’m happy I didn’t have exams during your comeback or else I would have been really distracted.”

Silence. Since she’s normally an energetic, talkative and relatively loud person, one clear indication that she’s angry (or very upset) is silence. Absolutely no words would be heard from her. She would listen, but not speak. If asked or talked to, she might answer, but with short responses only and very little to no eye contact. She’s someone who has a lot of patience and tolerance, and prefers to have control over her emotions; however, it is best to not keep letting things build up until the limit is reached because when it happens, she could easily shut people out and appear completely detached from emotions.

She makes time for them. Even if she has a schedule, she would try to see and spend time with them as soon as she could. If it’s not possible, she would send text messages or call, to check on them, or at least let them know about what’s going on and how she’s doing. If really needed, she would go to the extent of cancelling plans or schedules or pushing them back, if possible.
