Happy Valentine’s Day 🥰❤️ Could I plz get, like, hcs for Five with an S/O who always wants to match outfits with him? Like, they HAVE to be matching anytime they go out
So, Five *hates* matching.
Like loathes it with a burning passion.
(It’s pretty obvious why. I mean he had to match his siblings for 17 years.)
That said, he does appreciate the efficiency of a go to outfit, so when he’s able to select his own clothes, he goes for all black bottoms and white tops.
They’re not all the same, but at least he’s assured that whatever’s clean matches.
You catch on pretty quick to Five’s wardrobe in the early days of your relationship.
You don’t mention it though because he has so many quirks, most of which are more important to address (like his insane coffee addiction)
The first time you match him, it’s completely by accident.
He doesn’t seem to notice, but the people at the restaurant do. You can see them looking at you two with some smiles (and a few rolled eyes).
You do it again because you thought it was fun the first time.
This time he notices and tries to change, but he doesn’t own anything in any other colors.
So he pops you back home and you pull on a maroon sweater.
Which you take off once you get to lunch. You can see it’s driving him crazy, but you refuse to put it back on.
And then you match him again the next time you see him.
He makes a concentrated effort to Not React in hopes you’ll give up on it.
It’s hilarious.
Pretty soon you’ve adopted his wardrobe color scheme too. You like that when people see you together they know you’re together. Because it’s not like Five’s going around holding your hand or opening doors for you.
Five puts up with it because he’s not about to go buy a whole new wardrobe.
But then when you start bringing little accessories along...a red scarf to match yours. Some new checkered vans, and what not, he doesn’t put up a fight when you ask them to wear them.
Because he kind of likes having people know you’re his.
