The rap artist, Dumbfounded, uses his song/video Safe to showcase how white, male actors take up the majority of lead or supporting roles in major Hollywood films. By placing his face on these lead/supporting roles he combats the stereotypes surrounding Asian/American men, along with the lyrics to his song: “He was always quiet keeping to himself, never messed with anybody else... I swear if things don’t change my actions can’t be blamed”.
