As Dawn Breaks ~ Arrakis
The morning broke over the city of Arrakeen the residents of the palace rose to start their start of the day routines. In the Royal Apartments, Chani was already up and started her routine. She wore a casual gown of light blue that flowed around her. Chani still hadn't gottern used to going without a stillsuit on a daily basis. However being in Arrakeen was worth any sacrifice as long as she was with Paul.
Chani had prepared breakfast for both her and Paul. It was a simple meal of spice bread and spice coffee. Once she prepared the meal, she put it on a tray. From the private kitchens of the Emperor himself, she bypassed the servants as she made her way back to her and Paul's chamber. Chani made sure she prepared her and Paul's breakfast herself, just as she did back in the sietch days. She didn't see why anything had to change now.
Entering their chambers she walked over and put the tray on the table. Turning she smiled at Paul. "Good morning my love. I brought breakfast, Usul."
