Do you think adult Egg ever shaved his head again, either due to circumstances or just for old times sake, and he expected Dunk to see it and laugh, but when Dunk actually saw him he just crumbled and started sobbing?

Just finished reading The Mystery Knight, and these here are non-spoiler FACTS:
As always, Dunk is The Man. He has THE BALLS.
Egg is the human embodiment of SASS.
These facts should surprise no one. And now I have to go back to The Hedge Knight and begin reading it all again.
A drag path except it’s Dunk of fleebottom changing the fates of every major house in Westeros through his choice to shelter egg.
-the Lanasters as Tywin was eggs cup bearer enabled him to make the necessary connections to even gain a foothold of power in kings landing.
-the starks with presumably the 4th dunk and egg book deciding the family line to own Winterfell resulting in Ned and all his children.
-his fight with lyonel changing the course of Baratheon succession
-of course his descendants both Brienne who plays an instrumental role in the shaping of the war and likely hodor who is the entire reason that bran is able to make it beyond the wall and back.
-Barristan the bold being encouraged by his presence to become a Kingsguard
-and finally Jon and Daenerys only being able to exist due to him saving their mother/grandmother.
This man shaped the entire future of Westeros so much that it is genuinely unimaginable what it would’ve been without his presence.
King Aegon the Unlikely
Touch-starved Duncan having to keep himself from screaming crying and throwing up at every casual, affectionate touch with Egg😭
They’re staying under a tree somewhere in the North and Egg snuggles closer for warmth and Dunk is just… overwhelmed. He immediately starts tearing up and can’t explain why but he clutches the boy as close to his chest as he can without hurting him.
Holding his tiny hand in a large crowd and feeling the warmth of being trusted
Obviously putting Egg on his shoulders to see over crowds, walls, hedges etc.
Ruffling where the boy would normally have hair when he’s proud
Planting a quick kiss on his forehead before he scampers off to pick up some goose eggs from the market etc.
With Hodor likely being Dunk's descendant, I missed one big hint in that Hodor has an Egg in the form of Bran. It is a more exaggerated version with both being handicapped as Dunk was the stronger of the two while Egg was quite bright so Hodor is mentally handicapped while Bran is physically handicapped.
Bran like Egg is a young prince and later king from a magical bloodline. They are given common fanily nanes honoring the founders of their respective dynasties. Bran also has five siblings with three brothers and two sisters with one brother being sent when young to be sworn to a celibate order. What's more, Jon ends up meet Egg's brother who was also sworn to the Night's Watch. Bran and Egg also work with Bloodraven in defending the realm from the threats of House Blackfyre and the Others respectively.
As boys, they also shared similar ideaos as both aspired to knighthood, subscribing to its ideals. Dunk and Egg's travels basically follow both characters in Dunk's journey to knighthood (finally being knighted) and Egg's journey to kinghood just as Bran journeys to become a greenseer.
Tjey are Arthurian analogs with Egg as Limg Arthur and Bram as the Fisher King/Brânwen. Egg ultimately sought to create Camelot play defending the rights for the smallfolk against the lords, and defended the realm from a Blackfyre invasion while Bran seeks to defend the realm from an invasion by the Others, a dark mirror to humanity who seek to enslave the people of Westeros in perpetuity.
Hopefully, Bran's story turns out better than Egg's did.
