People who think it's "literally my job" to be nice to them. No, it's "literally my job" to try really hard not to spit in your food when you're rude to me for no reason.

Today I was at work and I guy came through the Dunkin' drive thru and we told him we didn't have blueberry bagels and he yelled, "WHAT THE FUCK!" And flipped shit in a hungover fit and drove thru without ordering anything and flipped us all off. Gotta love my job.
I cover for all these little shits and nobody covers for me. Ugh.
I went into the basement of a Dunkin donuts and found this hat while smoking a blunt.
This weekend was fairly eventful.
Compared to my usual weekend of working one day/morning, napping, then going right back to school lol. I slept through most of Friday and Saturday, after work Saturday morning, and during my few coherent hours Saturday afternoon after my shift I helped my mommy file my tax return so I'm getting just shy of a hundred bucks back YAY FREE MONEY and it's really gonna help with the trip home coming up soon.
Then this morning I of course had work again ugh, but I busted my ass beginning to end and I was really proud of myself because FOR ONCE I WAS NOT THE TARGET OF MY COWORKER'S BITCHINESS. When she made her usual snippy comments they were directed at other coworkers; with me she only laughed and made the every so often friendly exchange over what orders still needed to be taken care of. YES I felt so accomplished!
It helped that near to the end of our shift I brought up Cassy with my friend Chris and he called her "the wife-to-be." I seriously felt my whole being light up like you have no idea it felt so awesome to have those two terms in the same sentence again, I've never felt this way about another person ever. Ugh I couldn't stop grinning ear to ear while he asked me briefly how things were going with her and I said "wonderfully," and told him that I'd be in tomorrow between classes to show him my ring ah. It's such a relief to have someone to talk to about her, because I seriously just want to gush sometimes. She's perfect, I don't know how I ever got so lucky.
All that warm fuzzy happiness aside, I soon found out that when it was time to FINALLY leave and day shift was packing it in to make room for night shift, I had been forgotten in tip-counting. Again. Usually it's not that big of a deal for me, but this was an eight-hour day shift. That's where the money is, everyone at Dunkin knows that. And I can only work one shift a week now, so that money is more important to me than to pretty much anyone else on the floor at any time. I NEED that money, but the first person to split just forgot all about me, and only me, on a shift of like nine or ten people. I was so upset, and Francois had to put his tips back in with Tresha's and Danielle's and Berger's because everyone else on day shift had already left with their hefty chunk of (partially my) change. Even Chris didn't feel prompted to fish out his tips and put them back in to be re-split with everyone else's for me, and I myself told him I'd been forgotten. So pissed. But it's over now and my boss who's always had my back is gonna take care of it, so woo haha.
End rant about my eventful-yet-not-so-eventful weekend.
Yo I had a dream I was making iced coffee again at work and after I was completely done with it I crashed on a bean bag chair in the back and shouted "UGH I MADE ICED COFFEE aGAIN" and it was just entirely pointless lol. That experience must have really scarred me. I'll try hot coffee next time.
