One thing I’m driven by on the wedding day is always searching for those little moments that truly can’t be replicated. Some may seem insignificant, but over the years I’ve grown to learn that there is possibly a story behind each moment. This shot is definitely one of my favorite moments of all time. It’s rare that I have a couple who get ready together, so when Hector and Ebert first mentioned that they would be I took it as a challenge. There would be a bit more silence than usual, and the challenge was to get comfortable in that silence and be present. Anyone who knows me is aware of how ADD I am..so silence is my greatest enemy :). Hector and I met in my first photography class at Glassell. 6 years later, I had the honor of documenting his marriage to Ebert and it was one of the craziest parties I have ever attended/documented; a true Venezuelan party. Pics to prove it coming soon. #lovewins #dunlavywedding #vsco #blackwhite #blackandwhiteisworththefight (at Hotel ICON)
