Ireland’s Dingle Peninsula from a recent visit.
Dunquin Harbour sits on the west, close to the edge of County Kerry’s westernmost peninsula, making it Ireland’s and Europe’s furthest west point.
The seascape is one of undulating hills, mountains, jagged peaks and islands.
Seen, offshore, in the calm Atlantic Ocean - Skellig Michael and the Blasket Islands.
The term Wild Atlantic Way is quite apt for most of this western fringe of Europe.
