A renovated duplex apartment with a roof terrace
They’re so funny to me
Double type E duplex,
La Cité Radieus, 8th arrondissement, Marseille, France,
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016, La Cité Radieuse in Marseille is a masterpiece by Le Corbusier built between 1957 & 1952.
Born from the combination of two adjacent Type E duplexes, this apartment offers approximately 200 m² of space on an upper floor.
Unified in 1966 and renovated in the 1990s (including woodwork, kitchen, and Moroccan Tadelakt walls), the apartment has retained most of its original features, such as the staircase designed by Jean Prouvé, built-in storage, and the “boat shower” cabins.
Set within a three-hectare park, between hills and the sea. With two levels of amenities, including a shopping gallery with local stores and a hotel, as well as a nursery school, a solarium, a swimming pool, and an open-air theater on the roof, along with permanent security, La Cité Radieuse offers an exceptional quality of life.
