The tissue was sent out for pathology so they can determine the correct form of treatment. Duque is a happy boy that deserves a chance! Please help us help Duque kick cancer's butt! He was there for several weeks and was being fed by different people each day until the day he was rescued. He was malnourished and he presented with skin cancer lesions. Duque lost an ear to cancer and had multiple tumors removed. He was in foster care until recently when he presented with awful open wounds due to acute skin infection and squamous cell carcinoma. Duque is now under NYBC's care and is hospitalized. He is receiving antibiotic treatment first to cure the bacterial infections and to hopefully lessen the affected areas so he can have surgery and then more treatment.
