ANSWERS NEEDED!!
I really want to write a fic where the Gaang gets transported to the Star Wars universe (specifically during the prequels or Clone Wars era) and I need to know if Toph would be able to bend duracrete and durasteel. Because I could make the argument that duracrete and durasteel would have the same properties that make it so metalbenders can’t bend platinum (which I think is really stupid, they just shouldn’t be able to bend very very very refined metal because they’re bending the earth that remained in the ore during the refining process, and as far as I know platinum would still have those bits of earth).
But I could also argue that it’s Toph. If she wants to bend these new materials she will learn for no other reason than spite.
She also bent a meteorite...which isn’t from earth...
