Konrad Klapheck's Everyday Mechanics
Konrad Klapheck started painting typewriters in the 1950's. Then he started painting sewing machines. Next were water taps and showers, followed by telephones, irons, shoes, keys, saws, car tires, bicycle bells, and lastly clocks. In his own words, he painted with "prosaic super gegenst and lichke it" or, loosely translated, with "super objectivity."
