👀 to end all 👀: chou/oz
lemme talk about ships ! / not accepting / @dustfought
i. chou hates oz. it’s not a secret. with everything that has gone down, that is going down, chou holds nothing but resentment for the man. ozpin would say that it isn’t his fault but honestly? a lot of what is happening is indeed his fault even if he wishes it wasn’t.
ii. the funny part is, oz doesn’t even know chou. chou is an entity that ozpin has not once come across in his time being alive. so the resentment is from a distance. but it’s something that still resonates with ozpin. often, there’s a figure lingering in the distance that gives him a great sense of foreboding. it sends a chill down his spine and makes him feel so uncomfortable it drives him to the brink of despair. but then it disappears and within a few hours he forgets it was even there.
iii. there is a brief moment of contact with them. ozpin is in the midst of the initiation thing with the students and once glynda has left, he too goes to head back to the school only to come across them. chou stands there, staring at him with this ominous aura around them. they say nothing, merely watch for a few minutes. then as quickly as they are there, they are gone. this is the one time he remembers the presence and any other time he feels it, there’s a connection in the back of his mind that makes him sick to his stomach.
