Computer Issues
I've been having a lock-up issue with my computer when playing COD:World at War, and Battlefield 3. I could play for maybe 5-20 minutes before it would lock up and I would have to force a hard-reset. I finally realized today how dusty the internals were, so I went out and bought an air-duster and went to town on it. It's cleaner now, so I figured that might help. I was about to test it out again and then I remember an issue my video card software had where the fan was on automatic speed by default and was intended to increase speeds while running with a heavy load. Unfortunately the setting is defective and doesn't fully increase fan speed while under load, so you have to manually increase fan speed within the settings. Since installing my root windows drive on my new harddrive, I had forgotten to change this setting to where it needed to be. I'm guessing that's the main culprit, not so much the dustiness. Here goes nothing, about to test Bf3... Wish my old compy luck!
