Duvay! Yes, I made them a guy so sue me.

I gave him the wrong shoes, he is meant to have ice skates cause he is in the ice production in this universe. But he is the tallest of the Coaches, and honestly the coziest out of all the Sleepers. Apart from having an outfit based on pyjamas and a quilt based jacket, he helps you sleep. By that I mean if you are just standing around him even a few feet away and you'll get drowsy, and resting on him is like heaven he is so soft and cuddly.

In relationship to the others he is able to chill with Holly and Teddy -the other two Sleepers- and has a kind of big brother relationship with Diane and Pearl. Soft and friendly, always trying to keep the peace... But he isn't afraid to get rough and tumble with the others, GB and his gang... Sometimes it's just a look of warning to them to watch their behavior, but they step out of line and he's sending them to sleep another way.

When it comes to the other trains, he knows to keep a distance so they can work without feeling groggy. But they start to get rowdy, time for a little "sleepy persuasion". Some of the others find it annoying, but the adults are grateful for it cause it means less fighting just because he is around.

Not managing the behavior of the others, he is in charge of maintenance of the sheds. He can't clean them up by himself, rather he goes around and marks out hazards or issues that need to be fixed and sends others to do it. If he finds a well kept shed? Brownie points for that train!... Maybe a little good word with the others and small rewards sent their way.

Ashley and Duvay

Ashley

She has one of those super elegant, old fashioned cigarette cases that she keeps her cigarettes in. She has it on her at all times. She also has a matching, equally fancy cigarette holder, but she rarely ever uses it tbh! Makes it harder to smoke!

She has RIDICULOUSLY long hair, like. It goes down her back, to her thighs. She’s the envy of Disney Princesses. Nobody would be able to guess though because she keeps it in several braids that she then twists around the ornamental “chimney” piece she wears in her hair.

This probably goes without saying but that’s a LESBIAN.

Duvay

Okay idk much about Duvay so bear with me, as these are on the fly.

She’s a full believer in the mentality that all what you need to do to fix a bad mood is take a nap. She’s about three seconds away from telling Dinah to just hit the hay to clear her mind after Greaseball dumps her.

Just looking at pictures of her she has EXTREME “I grew up with six older brothers” energy so I’m going to say she grew up with a lot of older brothers and as a result is much more rough-and-tumble than one might expect. She LOVES to wrestle, and then also loves to take post-wrestle naps.

She’s a Cognac girl and likes to collect the fancier bottles she drinks. She keeps them on her headboard!

Headcanon Express: Duvay

In a real-train AU, the reason why Duvay’s name is misspelled is because that’s not her actual name. Her original name is something she considers amelodic and plain like Bertha the sleeping car. She picked Duvay because it sounds sophisticated, but she didn’t check a dictionary before she started using it, so the odd spelling stuck.

Can we please at least give Duvay a unique design if she has to be in the show? I saw someone suggest a green colour scheme for her, but I think lavender and purple would be cute. Any opinions on this? And what would you want incorporated into her design?
