something amelia wishes she were better at

            amelia  wishes  she was able to stand up for  herself            more readily. if she knows that she’ll have to defend            herself or her opinions,   that’s when she performs in            a way that makes herself comfortable.     when tough            situations  come  up  and everyone  seems  ready  to            stand for themselves,     for those around them, while            she’s ready to cower and cry,            it’s always a little            disheartening, to say the least.

—-I brought up my cat. He seemed nice about it. Not one of those people to be mean about cats. Everyone hates cats. Everyone thinks that they are mean. Everyone misses their pets... It's sad. I hope the topic changes soon. I want to speak but can not bring myself to. I feel like I can not speak well, I think they will find my attempts not good. I am just happy to be here. I hope we will find a safe place soon.

5. What is one thing they do that can negatively affect their relationship with friends?

     Cassie has a tendency to take things a little too seriously, and     personally. She might over-react about something that’s said     about her, and while she isn’t much of a grudge holder, she     will take some time to simmer back down. While annoyed     she could very well say some hurtful things to further drive     a wedge between her and her friend.

14. Is there anything they are too optimistic about?

     She can be a bit too optimistic about how the world isn’t     over and how things will return to normal eventually— that     it 'has to!' Even when things aren’t looking good, she still     tries as hard as she can to hold on to that little sliver of     hope, despite how pointless that might be.

“You were just using me?” Ash whispered, staring at him with wide eyes. she glanced between him and the others. Ash straightened her back, narrowing her eyes. she wouldn’t let him see the tears, or the pain that he’d caused her. that would be saved for later, when she was alone. without a seconds hesitation, Ash slapped him hard. she glared at him, hissing ” Fuck you, Luke.”

Walking over to where her pack sat, she shouldered it. then pushed out the door into the night.
