The most useless piece of physical media I own is a 12x DVD-RAM2 Disc which I bought before I understood that DVD-RAM was basically a dead standard before it even came out, and Discs with speeds above 5x are called DVD-RAM2 Discs, and they were only ever sold in Japan, thusly finding DVD Drives that support them is extremely difficult, and basically no run-of-the-mill BD/DVD/CD player that I already have has any idea what to do with the thing when I try to insert it. Shipped that shit all the way from Japan and will probably never be able to use it. DVD-RAM Discs do look pretty, though, so I guess that’s a plus.
