A spray of bright red SPLATTERS across his face as soon as he dares step close enough to Rebekah. Thankfully his eyes squeeze shut before any droplets manage to get in them. There's a moment of neither of them speaking followed by a long exhale before he opens them again, dark slits that burn with a SILENT rage. " That wasn't very ladylike of you. " Kai counters dryly with a botched attempt at MOCKING her accent. He rubs his shirt sleeve over his face to wipe the evidence of what was previously Rebekah's drink away.

" You can throw a fucking tantrum as much as you want, but I'm not going anywhere. Your brother wants me to stick around. " Kai didn't exactly want to stick around and act as some sort of guard dog or whatever Klaus had in mind. He was a newly-turned hybrid, with all the POWER and strength he could've ever desired or dreamt of. However, each time Kai considered leaving, he was pulled right back in. An uncontrollable sense of loyalty and duty that only further AGITATED him the more he thought about it.
