          She felt taken out of the real world for the duration of their short ride. The closer they grew to the looming trees that soon towered over them, the easier it became for the woman to imagine herself on horseback. Not just any horse, but one belonging to the Headless Horseman. A childlike scenario to imagine herself in, Yejin was completely enamored with the thrill of riding out with a stranger man who dealt with death as she did. A deep breath filled her lungs with air tasting just a bit fresher than where they had begun twenty-five minutes prior. The mortician hoped she would remember to breathe the deeper they went, her excitement threatening to clamp its hands down around her neck in a subtly erotic way.           Yejin removed her helmet and set it down upon the seat she had rode in on, turning to face her companion for the night. “How thoughtful of you,” she replied playfully at the mention of a fire pit. There was no mistake, being out in the woods, watching him work by firelight, it sent yet another chill of anticipation to shoot up her spine. Her shoulder shimmied in response to the sensation, then quickly froze in place with the rest of her. Out of all the things a woman like herself could be afraid of, dogs would presumably be at the very bottom of the list. Crimson painted lips puckered into a distasteful and uncomfortable pout. The soft whine that passed through both tiers prompted a small jerk of her head, leaning away from the sight of the rottweiler.           Words didn’t need to be spoken in order to express her discomfort around the animal. So she didn’t bother. “Pleasure,” she lied through her teeth, laughing nervously as a result. Eye contact with Honey wasn’t made. Wide eyes instead found their way to Soohyun’s in the dim moonlight. “By ‘right hand’ do you mean a pet you love dearly? Or is there a purpose for her being here tonight?”

sometimes kyungsoo has a difficult time believing the things that come out of his sister’s mouth. even more often, he wonders if she’s missing that mental filter that typically tells people not to say certain things, but it sure makes for interesting breaks in silence. now, however, isn’t exactly the time for jokes about their grandfather’s ass–or anyone’s ass, for that matter, aside from their own. they’ve been walking through subway tunnels for nearly half an hour now, navigating in the darkness with the aid of a crudely drawn map in search of some supposed party of the century. it was suspicious from the very beginning, raising all sorts of red flags for kyungsoo. so of course he had to tag along and volunteer to be his younger sister’s pseudo-chaperone to a party in a line that was never completed, that never made it to any official map.

with a soft sigh that echoes through the tunnel, kyungsoo sweeps his flashlight over the seemingly endless tunnel before them, then glances back down to the map in his other hand. “this seems like a bad idea,” he mumbles, each step measured to make as little noise as possible. some habits never disappear. “are you sure this wasn’t some kinda prank? i mean, we’ve been walkin’ for half an hour and.. nothing.” they haven’t even heard the faraway, tell-tale din of hectic music with the bass boosted to intergalactic levels, nor have they run into anyone else searching for this party. after each step they take further into these tunnels, the idea of turning around and getting frozen yogurt above ground sounds better and better.

if they do find the party, fine–he’ll just have to awkwardly stand off to the side and suffer through an entire night of noise, booze, and entirely too much physical contact. there’s little else that kyungsoo dislikes more than being dropped into social situations, but at least his sister would be safe. and if they don’t find the party… he hardly wants to think about what nightmares they may run into down here, outmatched, outsmarted, and wholly out of their element.

She then glanced at the flirty man Jaewon was mentioning and grinned. “That woman looks like she’s going to give in, so I’ll drink to that. I mean, I would give in. Have you seen that ass?” With a funny face and a shrug, leaning back in her chair. She ran a hand over her black Dita Von Teese wig before looking back at at the Korean man, meeting his eyes. “So, now that we’re here, sat and served, you can tell me why you specifically requested I come in drag tonight. There better be a hot man into the bargain.”

who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: On this, Reaper is a real man, can’t make gifts even if his goddam life was at stake. So Wrath again.

who takes the longest to get ready: Oh Wrath, definitely. But he likes his coquetish girl.

who is the most tidy and organised: Both but in different categories hoever, I feel like Reaper is more organized than Wrath.

who gets most excited about the holidays: Definitely Wrath. Reaper “meh”s through life.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Ooh, the roles vary depending on their mood, to be honest. I feel like Wrath loves to be the big spoon because she gets to baby Reaper.

who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: Huh. Girl. Reaper.

who starts the most arguments: Wrath. I mean, why would she be Wrath for otherwise?

who suggests that they buy a pet: Wrath but she’d most likely come back home with a cat, shove it in Reaper’s arms and be like “this is ours now” and if he’s not happy, well suck it up, bitch.

what couple traditions they have: One word, one place: Varanasí.

what tv shows they watch together: Oh God, it’s hard, because I don’t watch a lot of TV shows myself, but I’d say they also watch American Horror Story together, in memory of the good old times.

what other couple they hang out with: ... Really?

how they spend time together as a couple: They spend a lot of time apart, to be honest, but the time they spend together, however it is, they make it count.

who made the first move: Reaper did when he first met Florence. And he managed to make Wrath fall in love with him as well.

who brings flowers home: Definitely Reaper.

who is the best cook: Both cook equally well, I’d say.
