November 02: If you could write an episode, what would it be about?
Hmm..well an idea that I think would be fun is that they would take a fan of the show (like, one of the younger ones of our generation) and have them play this psychic who gets kidnapped by an alien version of the Mafia.
That would be pretty cool. Then they'd obviously get rescued by The Doctor but they'd get to play a companion for a little while.
ME AND MY ORCHESTRA TEACHER WENT FULL OUT NERD
my orchestra teacher loves doctor who so today in class, after a suggestion on a song to play for our concert, i went to him after school to suggest a song... me: ya know what we should play? the doctor who theme song! him: how did i know you were going to say that? me: hahahaha (my laugh isn't that obnoxious sounding in real life) yea my friend's orchestra class in a different school once did the doctor who theme song him: well the only problem with the theme song idea is that it's very short so if we could do a medley or something it would be fine me: yea yea i'll check and see it may have been like the background music but we should totally do the doctor who theme song (another class mate): what does the doctor who theme song sound like me (takes deep breathe): DO WEE DOOOOOOO DO WE DOOOOOOOO DO WEE DOO DOO WEE DOOOOOOO WEE DOOOOOOOO (after a couple of lines, orchestra teacher joins in. may i add that we are both jumping up and down while we sing this, looking like 12 year olds) *both of us sing the bass line at the same time* duh duh duh duhhhn duh duh duh duhhhn duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duhn *people look at us* i love our orchestra teacher so much like no but it was hilarious from my point of view, think about how the others saw this. they saw a fourteen year old and a fully grown man fangirling (fandoms know no gender!) bouncing up and down and singing a song that only includes the words "do we doo" (who says ya can't sing instrumental?!) this is my favorite thing about the doctor who fandom, the fact that 14 year olds and 40 year olds can both celebrate something they love
ok doctor who fans where I am get kind of a bad rap like today I had maybe three people come up and ask me if I hated them because they didn't like doctor who
Doctor Who fans are the best. I knew I could count on you guys :)
